This one is dedicated to His Royal Badness, PRINCE. I began writing and recording it a few weeks before his death in April of 2016. This is one of the few times I was intentional about showing his influence in my music. I was channeling him and Wendy Melvoin as I started crafting the synth guitar lead line and solo. I realized later shades of him in the background vocals as well. He passed as I was still in the process of recording vocals. Anyone who knows me knows how heavy losing Prince was to me. So I honor him with this release (hence the purple lettering and heart).

The song is actually about realizing with the head that a relationship is wrong, but heart has other ideas.
